Welcome to Dreamwood, Maine. With only 487 year round residents, we are full of local culture and tight community, but rely a great deal on our summer vacationers, such as college students on break, harassed city folk and sailors stopping in for a time. Here you can find people of all sorts, most friendly, all odd, from lifers, living out their golden years by scaring unsuspecting children with tales of ticking alligators, and princely beasts, to normal kids, just trying to survive Dreamwood high school. Strangely, it's been storming up a good one, this summer. Good for local legends or ghosts, beasts, and fairies flying on the harsh winds, but bad for tourism! So please, come one, call all, take advantage of our authentic historical port, our pirate impersonators, and local flavor.
